Our first batch of XR2 flashlights 🔦 arrived to our office today and they look 😍 and work fantastic!
So what time is it?!
Although it's Friday, we plan on working around the clock 🕖 tonight and over the weekend to get these into your hands as soon as we possibly can. Please Note: If you purchased additional batteries on BackerKit please allow an additional week or so for your order to ship since the batteries are coming from a different supplier and they are taking a bit longer than expected. 😞
Over the next couple of days, you should receive an email with your tracking number (assuming you have answered your BackerKit survey). If you don't receive a tracking number by next Friday please send us a message through Kickstarter and we will assist you.
Now folks, we are going to keep this backer update short so we can get back to work. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns we will be periodically checking back in the messages and comments section.

Hey Backers,
We know you are all ready to receive your XR2, which is great! Although we had hoped to deliver in time for Christmas, our manufacturing partner has not yet been able to ship out the flashlights to us. Unfortunately, we have to adjust our delivery timeline to January 2020.
On the other hand, we are truly very close now! We have asked the factory to expedite the first couple hundred units that will be going out to our early bird backers. We'll receive the shipment via express air, which is far more expensive than shipping by sea, but we are determined to get XR2 into our backers' hands as soon as possible!
Thank you for your understanding and continued patience. It's been a lot of work, but we're fired up that the day is near. We will post another backer update as soon as XR2 reaches our office.

Hope all is well! 👍
We just wanted to drop in and share some more photos of the assembled XR2 parts, a brief video clip, and a sneak peek of the retail boxes (manufactured by a separate partner who specializes in packaging). At this time all the flashlight heads are done. Signature red o-rings have been added to the head and the flashlight body tubes have been attached.
What is left now to complete the flashlight is the tail-cap switch assembly and the batteries. Once the batteries and tail-caps are installed, our primary factory will test each flashlight before moving forward with packing the retail boxes.
As usual, we will post another backer update when we have more news to share.

Just a very quick update to let everyone know the PCB (electronic) components are done and the flashlight heads are being assembled as we speak. Just a few more weeks and we should be completely done with this phase. 🤗
After flashlight assembly, we will be moving into the retail packaging phase; flashlight, USB Type-C cable, holster, etc. will be placed into the retail boxes and prepared for inbound shipping to our office. 📦
We will keep everyone posted as soon as we have more news to share.
